Barbara Grasseschi

Board Member

Barbara Grasseschi enjoyed success in a breadth of challenging careers in finance, sales, and marketing for the high-tech industry before settling in Sonoma County with her husband Tony Crabb, in 2000. Together they founded Puma Springs Vineyards, turning a formerly neglected vineyard into a model of biodynamic effectiveness.

Not one to sit (or stand) still, and believing that “you can do anything, but not everything,” Barbara is an enthusiastic advocate for the potential of positive political action to strengthen the community – locally, statewide, and nationally. Recently named Democrat of the Year by the Sonoma County Democratic Party, Barbara serves on the Steering Committee for the Electing Women Alliance, the National Advisory Board for the Union of Concerned Scientists, and is the founder of the Wine Country Chapter of Electing Women Bay Area, which has hosted events for candidates for office ranging from city council, school board, state legislature, house members to senator to president, raising more than $1.5M since its inception in 2017.

Barbara lives in Healdsburg with Tony and their Labradoodles, where she puts her talent for connecting people with purpose to great use as an active supporter of local arts, education, and healthcare organizations.
