Gabriella Akes (she/her) is the Political Analyst at Voices for Progress. In this role, Gabby provides support for the organization’s federal and California political programming. Previously, Gabby worked on progressive congressional campaigns as well as interned with voting rights organizations Reclaim Our Vote and Common Ground. Gabby holds a B.A. in Political Science from Smith College. She is passionate about the growing progressive political landscape and inspiring political action. Gabby enjoys spending time with her senior cat Domino, tending to her many house plants, and traveling to new destinations.
