Majda Elezovic Rahmanovic
Engagement and Growth Manager
Majda Elezovic Rahmanovic (she/her) is the Engagement and Growth Manager at Voices for Progress. She coordinates efforts to engage donor advocates in policy advocacy and political programming and to grow the network of allied donor groups. Majda has over a decade of experience in civil rights activism and civic engagement. Previously, Majda has worked with national groups on advocacy, civic engagement and anti-discriminatory policy. Majda holds a BA from Lake Forest College and an M.A. from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Majda’s research focused on the rights of minority groups, particularly the Hui and female religious leaders. Majda is passionate about racial and social justice, refugee rights, and reproductive freedom. Majda resides in Chicago with her family. She loves cooking and baking, singing karaoke, and traveling.
Most staff are employed by Voices for Progress Education Fund, a project of Tides Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Voices for Progress, a project of Tides Advocacy, a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization, covers the cost of any work performed on its behalf via a cost-sharing agreement.
